Oasis was created by James Halliday, a genius obsessed with all things from the 1980's. When Halliday died, he left his billions to anyone who can solve the riddles and find the "Easter eggs" he imbedded in Oasis. Wade, like every other gamer, has been pursing these "eggs" for years. He has studied Halliday's life and hobbies in hopes of finding clues. Then one day he suddenly solves the first riddle and his whole life changes in an instant. Gamers and some very powerful corporations will stop at nothing in order to win the money. Some will even commit murder in real life. Will Wade solve all the riddles and win the money? Or will he lose his "real" life?
