Trisha just moved and has been placed in Mrs. Peterson's class. She's excited because she is no longer known as the girl in the "special" class, like at her old school and feels she can start fresh. That is until she's told Mrs. Petersons class is called the "junkyard." With a great teacher like Mrs. Peterson, Trisha and all the students in her class, overcome the nickname of the "junkyard." When something awful happens, they decide together to work on a special project that turn them into "Junkyard Wonders."
