Will Everett's whole life has been tied to the Canadian trans-continental railroad; his father was one of its builders. So it is only natural that his father be put in charge of the Boundless, the world's longest train, on its maiden voyage from Halifax to Vancouver. Everything is on the Boundless, the funeral car of the railway's founder, accommodations for everyone from the wealthiest to the poorest traveler, a Mounty for protection, even a circus for entertainment. This is a historic success for Canada. However, not everyone on the train wants to see the boundless reach Vancouver. Will soon discovers there are those determined to seek revenge upon the train and its founder leading Will on the adventure of a lifetime.
