Maybelle Lane wants to meet her father, who has no idea she exists. Her mother warns her that nothing good can come from meeting him. But, now Maybelle has heard his voice over the radio. She knows exactly when and where he is going to be, she sets out to meet him. She's sure that once he hears her sing, he'll realize who she is and love her.
