The war has ended. It has been a year since Peter and Pax separated. Pax and Bristle have had kits. Peter attempts to close himself off from all emotions and forget the family he lost in the war. As the two lead separate lives, Pax and Peter will have to find their way home to each other. Pax's littlest kit is in trouble. She is ill and the only person that can help her now is Peter.
