Princess Hyacinth: The Surprising Tale of a Girl who Floated

Florence Parry Heide
Description
Princess Hyacinth was one sad little girl. She was a normal, pretty princess except for one thing: she floats. Yes, Princess Hyacinth floats like a balloon. Her parents, the King and Queen, were so worried she would float away. They made her wear clothes that had golden weights and diamond pebbles sown into the hems. She also wore a very heavy crown. Because her clothes and crown were so heavy, Princess Hyacinth was never able to run and play with the other kids. So there she sat in her window everyday sadly looking upon the children of the kingdom playing. Then one day decides enough is enough and leaves the castle. Will she find a way to have fun with the kids and ditch her heavy clothes?
