Amari can't catch a break. Her brother, Quinton, is missing presumed dead by the police, who refuse to help look for him. Her mother is about ready to give up and the rich kids at her private school mock her family's pain and misfortune. They'll do anything to get a rise out Amari. Somehow she's at fault. When the package is discovered inside, it contains a gaudy suit, metallic shades, and an even more cryptic message. The shades open her eyes to a world buried deep under layers of reality.
