Rice Moore is hoping for a new beginning. He will start a new job as a caretaker of a nature preserve in Virginia. It’s a long way from the Arizona and Mexican drug cartels who are after Rice for betraying them. While on the job, Rice discovers someone is killing bears on the preserve to sell on black market. With the help of the previous caretaker, who is a scientist, Rice becomes obsessed with stopping the poachers. Along the way he makes enemies of the law, locals, and black market criminals.
