On the run from an Elvis impersonator without enough money to put gas in the car, Foster and her mother end up in Culpepper. Culpepper is small town where everybody is in everybody's business. Sometimes it takes the kindness of strangers to stop the avalanche of bad things that are happening. Cupcakes sometimes help too. Or so Foster believes. A devotee of Sonny Kroll on the cooking channel, Foster creates and inspires folks in the small community with her cupcakes. Wayne at the local diner has people lining up at the counter for her creations, they are a natural fundraiser for Helping Hands, even her mom finds strength in her crafty creations.
