Danny Dragonbreath has the heart of an adventurer but his body needs to catch up. According to his father he should be a fire breathing dragon but at the moment the most he can muster up is a little bit of smoke. His best friend Wendell doesn’t care. He is an iguana and so he never be able to breathe fire. So Wendell applies himself at school, something that Danny had better start doing if he wants to pass Science. Mr. Snaug, the Science teacher, isn’t interested in Danny’s daydreams about adventure. He wants nothing but the facts. So he and Wendell take off to find out what the adventure and the some facts with his cousin Edward, a sea serpent.
