Edgar is from a happy family; his parents are clowns who cheer up sick children at the Children's Hospital. At his house people are always breaking out in music and song. His parents sing and his brother Henri plays the clarinet. Edgar doesn't have such talent. He is interested in more serious things, such as investigating the recent theft in his classroom. He has devoted a notebook to his investigation, an official crime investigation notebook. He's not the only one interested in sleuthing this crime. His classmate Patrick is also looking for the thief, and it appears that Patrick is both smarter and better equipped to solve the mystery. He owns a camera and his dad is a forensic specialist. Sometimes its hard to find success, even in a happy family.
