Fireboat: The Heroic Adventures of the John J. Harvey
Description
New York City, 1931 was a cool place to be. Babe Ruth was hitting his 611th homerun, kids tasted Snickers for the 1st time, and an awesome new bridge was completed. And on one wonderful sunny day the John J. Harvey fireboat was launched. It was the "largest, fastest, and shiniest" of all 12 fireboats. It sailed all around New York City putting out fires. It was a great fireboat! But by 1995, the Harvey was not used as much and was waiting for someone to buy it for scrap. A group of friends decided to buy the Harvey and fix it up to use for fun. So although the Harvey was saved everyone said its firefighting days were over. That is until September 11, 2001 when the Harvey was called for help.
