The Zimmer family has just moved into the eerie house on Hemlock Street, Mom (a fashion designer), Dad (an editor), Selena (the pretty teenage sister) and the twins, Hannah and Anna. At first Hannah & Anna are determined to do anything they can to get their parents to move back to Brooklyn, including playing tricks on their sister. But for the first time in their lives, they are put in separate classrooms and Anna starts liking their new life and her new friends. Hannah on the other hand, has trouble adjusting and making new friends. That is until someone starts talking to her. Is it all in her head or is there really a soul that needs help? Are the green eyes real or just a town myth? This story is told from the point of view of someone or something in the house and is a bit mysterious.
