Georges is in the seventh grade and the class bully (among others) makes fun of his name constantly. When his father gets laid off, the family is forced to move from their home to an apartment building. Although it is a tough change, he eventually makes friends with Safer, another kid from the building. The two become spying partners on a Mr. X who also lives in the building.
