Mia’s abuela (grandmother) is coming to live with her. She is leaving her world with parrots and mango trees to live with Mia and her parents in the city. Although they are related, they do not understand each other. So, Abuela begins to help Mia learn Spanish and Mia helps Abuela learn English. Even so, Mia thinks her Abuela is lonely while she is at school. During a shopping trip with her mother, Mia discovers the perfect thing to help her Abuela.
