The biggest mistake a chimney sweep can make is getting stuck. When Nan finds herself trapped too big to crawl out, a rival sweep sets the chimney on fire to encourage her escape. Engulfed in flames, Nan passes out later awakening in an empty attic with her savior. A small golem born from a warm clump of clay. The clay golem and Nan must find their purpose in a cruel and harsh world.
