There is something special about the Goodnight family of Texas. They are a family of witches, psychics, and ghosts. Amy Goodnight just wants to be "normal" and not come from a magical family. So when she accepts an ordinary job ranch sitting for her aunt, she thinks that is a great way to spend the summer before college. However, her desire to be normal is put to the test by an angry ghost bent on revenge against the farming family next door. It doesn't help that the family has a cute cowboy in their mist that seems to put Amy on edge. In order to save her cowboy and sanity, Amy will have to reach deep and find her inner magic. Texas Gothic was an enjoyable and fun read.
