Toddie's parents decide to take a trip to New York City. His Pa says that they should try to blend in. But how does a wicked big toddlah blend in when he towers over everyone? While they are sightseeing, he gets separated from his parents; a frightening experience for him, Ma and Pa. Like any young child he gets scared. Will his parents ever find him and be able to return to their home in Maine?
