During World War 2 the military started an all black squadron at the Tuskegee Institute. The stories, told in verse, gives the reader an idea of what it was like to be chosen for a crew that was never meant to actually participate in the war. “You Can Fly,” Is a testament to perseverance and never giving up on your dream to fly.
