Description
Marcelo lives in a tree house next to his parent's house with his dog Namu. He attends Patterson, a school for children with special needs, such as autism. Marcelo suffers from Aspergers disease, but unique only to Marcelo, he hears music in head. Or as he explains it, he feels the music that his head makes. Thanks to the tireless efforts of his mother and the staff at Patterson, Marcelo lives a contented life. He helps take care of the therapy horses at Patterson, and hopes one day to raise and train Haflinger ponies as therapy horses. His dreams and aspirations are challenged when his father, a high powered attorney, decides that Marcelo needs to venture out into the "real world," and insists that Marcelo take a job in his law firm for the summer. Confronted by the "winner take all" attitude at the law firm Marcelo learns of the injustice that lies just beneath the surface of law firm's success.
